The Reed Institute covers everything from hydronic heating boilers and water heaters to small duct high-velocity heating and cooling. We also have added in-depth training on our newly introduced heat pump offerings, both reverse cycle and inverter based.

Designed for Engineers, Architects and highly technical contractors and technicians. PDH’s are supplied.
This class provides an understanding of basic boiler room design, as well as startup, troubleshooting and maintenance procedures for KN and RBI units.This two day hands on class is geared towards technicians and contractors. Classes run 8:00-4:00

Director of Training and Development John Wrobel has over 33 years of experience in the HVAC industry including 14 years working as a hands-on technical and applications trainer. Most recently, John served as a training manager with a concentration on hydronic boilers and water heaters managing all technical and sales training for the North American markets. John combines vast background in the HVAC industry with his extensive training knowledge to provide a complete, easy-to-understand training experience.
Joe has a solid history of working in the HVAC industry, where he has been sizing, specifying, selling, and servicing HVAC equipment for nearly 15 years. Having worked in the service, sales, and engineering fields within the states of Utah, California, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska, Joe has first-hand experience in a wide variety of comfort heating and cooling applications.
Jim Bashford is the National Sales and Training Manager for SpacePak. Jim has an extensive tenure in the HVAC Field. Before joining the SpacePak team, Bashford was a manufacturer’s representative for three years working with a variety of HVAC products. He has a total of 19 years' experience in the HVAC industry, including experience as a contractor and business owner where he spent five years selling and installing SpacePak products.
